Lincoln University Class of 1968 - 50th Reunion A Project of Alumni
Dear Classmates and Friends,
One of Lincoln University's most cherished alumni traditions is the class reunion gift. At least every five years, classes engage in comprehensive fundraising campaigns to inspire high levels of class participation and to secure leadership contributions in support of Lincoln's current priorities.
Class Reunion weekend is a special time to reflect on your years as a student and to celebrate how your Lincoln education has affected your life. For us, our 50th Reunion is a golden time to reconnect with classmates and to be a part of a long tradition of Loyal Lincoln Lions and Lionesses that honor the university by making a comprehensive gift in this milestone year.
This 50th reunion year is excellent opportunity to support Lincoln University in a way that is personally meaningful to you. Your gift can be designated to the student aid campaign, to student organizations, to the Alumni Association, to the library, to athletics or other areas of greatest need. Unrestricted gifts are extremely important because they allow the President to prioritize needs and direct funds where they will be most useful. Endowments created in your name fund specific programs in perpetuity.
Be sure to use this time before the reunion in May 2018 to maximize your gift. Your gift may be doubled or even tripled by employers who match charitable contributions made by their employees and sometimes, retirees or spouses. Gifts of stock or mutual funds are accepted as charitable contributions and there may be considerable tax benefits for this type of contribution. To learn more, contact Stephen McDaniel, CFRE Interim V.P. for Institutional Advancement, firstname.lastname@example.org or 484-365-7441.
Thank you for your involvement, support and taking time to consider your gift to Lincoln University in honor of our 50th Reunion!
Hail, Hail, Lincoln!
